Our daughter, Jane used the cheapest mobile phone service possible. However had she had a smartphone, whether Android of iPhone then she could have downloaded the Epilepsy Society app that might have made a difference.
Dealing with Epilespy is a personal thing. Everyone is different. But, as we know to our cost if one either somehow ignores it or otherwise finds one's drug regime (or other solution) is not managing your fits effectively then this app should help identify problems and help you find solutions that suit you.
One feature of the app is the ability to record your fits effectively. So, no longer, when you visit your doctor will you have to say "I think I had 3 fits over 5 weeks", instead the app can should exactly when you had those fits.
And remember the most effective protection from SUDEP is good fit management.
