My daughter died after an epileptic fit whilst in the shower. This woman died in the toilet after an epileptic fit Note the similarity? My daughter's death was recorded as SUDEP. This woman's was not. Note the dissimilarity?
Not all coroner's necessarily record SUDEP as the cause when appropriate. I found out yesterday that if you are not happy with a coroner's verdict you can ask for a second opinion. A second opinion would not have stopped this woman from dying, but it might inform other's better and lead to better research.
