Today, a year to the day that Jane died, we formally announce the start of fundraising efforts. We're doing this in Cutteslowe Park, North Oxford between 4 and 5pm. Ourselves, friends and family will be doing circuits of the Sri Chinmoy Peace Mile triathlon-like for an hour. Some will be wearing wet-suits, some on bicycles, some running - and some walking. We will be easy to spot with our ForJane T-shirts in Irish Green to reflect Jane's latter days both living and working in Dublin and also her love for ecology.
We're getting some good media coverage on BBC Breakfast South Today show, BBC Radio Oxford, local papers and ITV should be covering the end of our Cutteslowe Park event by filming our launch of 24 ForJane balloons, one for each year of her life.
